Niblock is aware of and shares the increasing concern with which environmental issues are being regarded by its clients and the general public alike.
Our company procedures require us to examine the likely environmental considerations we may encounter on each construction project and the likely impact our work will have on the local environment.
Where appropriate, we produce an Environmental Impact Assessment that addresses specific project issues, prior to commencement on site.
Our Environmental Impact Assessment will take into account not only environmental matters arising from the construction work, e.g. asbestos removal, dust, noise, contaminated waste etc., but also our impact on the surrounding environment including any adjoining buildings, neighbours, and members of the public.
We believe by adopting this approach we are able to focus on specific project issues rather than relying on a ‘one size fits all’ standard environment policy that is not project specific in addressing environmental concerns.
